This Rock-Ola M1 Carbine was produced around February of 1944. The carbine's serial number is 4605571. The Rock-Ola barrel is not dated. The bore is bright with sharp lands. All of this Rock-Ola's parts and stock are correct Rock-Ola parts for the serial number range and time frame. This carbine also has the rare feature of having a National Postal Meter Bolt. This National Postal Meter bolt was part of a shipment of parts cleanup bolts that were sent to Rock-Ola to use in their production. These bolts were shipped to Rock -Ola around October of 1943. There were 1000 bolts delivered in that shipment. This National Postal Meter Bolt has a Rock-Ola coded firing pin and extractor installed. The bolt shows wear consistant with the wear of the rest of the carbine. This carbine shows service wear and use. The stock and handguard have no cracks or damage to the wood. The stock is a oval cut, high wood stock. The stock has the correct RMC in a box with crossed cannons. The handguard is also correctly coded RMC. There are dents and marring due to war time use and wear to the wood. The carbine itself is in very fine condition. The parkerizing is intact. The bolt has faded bluing. The action is crisp and works correctly. This carbine has the original front and rear sight intact. The magazine is correctly coded Rock-Ola. The sling and oiler are World War 2 Issue. These Rock-Ola carbines are quite rare to find in original condition today! Rock-Ola only produced 3.7% of the total production of carbines during the war! That makes it to about 228,500 carbines! Rock-Ola is number 9 of 10 in rarity! Here is a fine honest representation of these rare carbines that has not been messed with!

Concerning Phone Calls

For those folks that do not know me yet, I’m very hard of hearing on the phone. Therefore when you would call me, I will pick up the phone and tell you that I will call you right back. I have caller ID just so that you know, the reason for that is I cannot use a regular phone. I have to switch over to what is called a voice carry over phone. When I call you back  you will hear my voice in our conversation, an operator will type your conversation to me on my phone view screen. With me reading what you are saying to me saves me a lot of confusion for me mishearing words.

I do want to talk to you and answer your questions without mistakes or miscommunications. This system works pretty good, so please be willing to be patient with my hearing loss.

My wife Marcia has fine hearing on the phone and is quite knowledgeable about firearms and is very able to help you over the phone.

Thanks, Harry
